Dear Melican Families -

We hope you enjoyed the long weekend. Thank you to anyone who has served in our armed forces and/or who has lost anyone who has. We appreciate you. 

Please remind students to bring charged chromebooks to school each day.

Thank you to our students who performed in front of peers and families at the Melican Music and Art Showcase on Monday. 

On Tuesday, our seventh graders will engage in Latin dancing, and on Friday, our eighth graders will. This is a favorite annual tradition. 

On Wednesday, our seventh graders will travel to Patriot Place for their field trip, which includes interactive STEM-related (science, technology, engineering, and math) education modules. They will leave Melican at 8:30 a.m. and will return at approximately 1:45 p.m.

On Wednesday and Thursday, our eighth graders will participate in their Civics MCAS sessions from 7:45-10:00 a.m.
