Dear Melican Families -

We hope you enjoyed your weekend. It was wonderful to see many of you on Thursday at our Open House. Thank you to those of you who supported the PTO bake sale. Proceeds will benefit our eighth graders.

Several of our students helped us in the AppleFest Parade on Saturday - Thank you!

School Picture Days are September 24 (Wednesday) and September 25 (Thursday):
Wednesday - Grade 8 and students in 7-1 through 7-5
Thursday - Grade 6 and students in 7-6 through 7-9

After and Before School Activities: We have many offerings at the middle school. You will be notified when we have a list of clubs and activities. Late buses have begun for students who choose to stay after school. Beginning this week, we will have two late buses. Because the buses take all students, these routes are longer than typical bus routes.

Chromebooks: Please remind students to bring charged chromebooks to school each day. Please also encourage them to bring their chargers.

REMINDER: Phones, Smartwatches, Wireless Earbuds: We are using Yondr pouches to store student devices during the day. To assist us in planning, please complete this form if your child(ren) will not be bringing smart watches, phones, wireless earbuds, etc. to school this year
