Dear Melican Families -

We are excited to present The Little Mermaid, Jr. tonight and tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. at Algonquin. Thank you to our students for their hard work and for being flexible and adjusting to the change in schedule resulting from the two snow days this week. We hope to see you there!

It is hard to believe that March begins on Sunday and that Caregiver-Teachers Conferences take place on Thursday, March 5. Students will be dismissed at 10:45 that day and conferences take place from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Our Scholastic Book Fair takes place from March 2 through March 6 in the library.

March 2-6 - Scholastic Book Fair
March 4 - AAPPL Test - Grade 8; School Committee @ 6:30 @ Lincoln Street School
March 5 - AAPPL Test - Grade 8; Early Release for Students - Caregiver-Teacher Conferences (1:00-3:00; 5:30-7:30)
March 12 - NAEP Testing - Grade 8 (40 students)
March 20 - No School
March 23 - No School for Students - Professional Development for Staff
March 27 - Patriots' Place Field Trip for 7th Graders
April 3 - No School
April 8 - Quarter 3 Ends - because of the snow days so far this quarter, we will likely adjust the end of the quarter.
April 20-24 - April Vacation

Math (all grades) - 5/11 and 5/13

STE (all grades) - 5/18 and 5/19

Civics (8th grade only) - 5/27 and 5/28
