Dear Melican Families -
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and mother figures - thank you for the countless ways you make a difference in our students' lives.
This week we acknowledged and celebrated our staff. Thank you to our Melican PTO for providing staff members with Melican t-shirts and for providing a delicious lunch today.
Our seventh and eighth graders who participate in our French and Spanish programs enjoyed learning Latin dance steps. This annual tradition is a favorite for our students and adults in the building.
It's MCAS time again! Our students will participate in Math MCAS on Monday and Wednesday. Please remind your children to bring charged devices to school.
Lastly, please remind your children that colognes, perfumes and other scented body sprays should remain at home. While we understand that our students want to look and smell great, we are aware that such strong odors can result in some students and adults getting headaches or having allergic reactions. We will remind our students of this expectation here at school. We thank you for supporting us with this at home.
