Dear Melican Families -
We have had a busy week here at Melican as we make our way towards the the end of the 2025 - 2026 school year! Here are some of the highlights:
Thanks to the support from our generous PTO, our eighth graders visited Polar Park to see the WooSox game on Wednesday. We had a beautiful day for the event, and our students enjoyed making memories with their peers.
Our Student Community Groups held a Career Fair on Friday. Students were given opportunity to listen to a panel of inspiring professionals who offered advice about how they arrived at the levels of success that they have.
Algonquin seniors toured Melican today as part of their Senior Stroll. Our students and staff were thrilled to see the seniors in their caps and gowns. We are proud of all of our former Melican students and wish the class of 2026 the best!
We have another full week coming up next week and look forward to the upcoming events listed below. Enjoy the first weekend in June!
